Wondering if doing the Path of the Gods (Sentiero degli Dei) is doable in early April?
Path of the Gods in April is definitely doable, weather permitting of course. That’s really the only unknown. April can be a bit unpredictable. So, be prepared for a bit of rain or have a backup plan just in case.

and not storms and thunders 
, even if photo-wise it might not be so impressive.
