SITA Bus schedule

SITA is the public bus company that operates along the Amalfi Coast towns.

The SITA Bus schedule changes a few times per year with each season, being a bit more frequent in the full-season period (June, July, August) and running later in the day when compared with the winter season. The Spring schedule has just been published today for a few routes.

Where can the COSTIERA TERRA & MARE ticket be purchased? Not seeing any opportunity. But I don’t read Italian. We plan to use Salerno as a base to explore the Almalfi coast and surrounding area, via day trips. Does it make sense to take a ferry to Positano or Amalfi and then take a bus back to Salerno, stopping at several towns. The busses seem to run into the evening. We plan to do this in May. Thank you. Marty

Hi Marty. You can find a list of all businesses that sell SITA tickets on the official site or on unicocampania.it.

In Salerno specifically, go to the ticket office in Via Vinciprova (open all days from 6.45 until 18.45).

Hey Dan
Can I ask, latest Sita bus schedules linked here state valid from 13 June 2022. Are they the right ones to consult till the end of March 2023 please?
Also, SITA bus tickets; we will be travelling from Sorrento towards Ravello. Realise we need to change buses in Amalfi, so should I ask the seller for corsa singola tickets? Noticed the price differences mentioned A1 and A3 so wasn’t sure if they would ask where we are headed?
Many thanks for your help.
Bianca

Hey Bianca,

If you’re making no pause in Amalfi and just boarding the next bus to Ravello, you can ask for the Orario ticket (AC4). Otherwise, AC4 Corsa Singola (Sorrento-Amalfi) + AC1 Corsa Singola (Amalfi-Ravello). Asking for tickets to Amalfi and then Amalfi-Ravello should achieve the same thing.

The schedules are valid until the 31st of March when they’ll be updated with the summer schedules.

Dan, many thanks for your help with this! Looking forward to the trip!

Hi Dan, I checked the Sita Route 5003 schedule between Salerno and Naples Airport and noticed the L(3) schedule with dates, but do not understand the dates. Will we be able to use the bus leaving at 7:00 during June 2023?

Many thanks
Johan

Hi Johan,

L says it’s running Monday to Friday within this period: 07/01 - 30/07 & 05/09 - 23/12. So, yes, the bus runs in June 5 days/week, from Monday to Friday (no Saturday/Sunday).
